Walter Wrigglesworth
AMD SBIR Manager, Raytheon Missile Systems

Walter Wrigglesworth currently manages the development of key technologies for the Modular/Multiple Kill Vehicle Product Line at Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, Az. For the past 3 years he has been the Program Manager for Low Cost Kill Vehicle. As manager of this program, one of Wrigglesworth’s responsibilities was to review candidate technologies to be developed under the SBIR Program and coordinate the insertion of these technologies into future production programs. In cooperation with MDA DEP and MDA GMD, RMS he has reviewed and interacted with over 75 small businesses under the SBIR Program. The LCKV Sensor, as part of MDA DEP’s upcoming NGSP Flight Experiment, will demonstrate products of eight of these small businesses.

Prior to his current position, Wrigglesworth was employed for 20 years by the Manufacturing Operations organization at RMS where he worked to develop the technologies and tooling required to transition newly acquired programs to production. Wrigglesworth received his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona.
